PROCESS OF THE PAINTING HERE

STARTING A NEW PAINTING IS ALWAYS CHALLENGING. AND I TEND TO FOLLOW A SIMILAR PROCESS FOR ALMOST ALL MY PAINTING. THE FIRST IS FIGURING OUT THE COMPOSITION.

I TRY ON DIFFERENT LAYOUTS TO FIGURE OUT THE COMPOSITION FOR MY PAINTING THAT CAN CONVEY MY CONTEXT .

THE FINAL LAYOUT

THIS PAINTING WAS THE FIRST TIME I WAS ATTEMPTING A LARGER SURFACE AND I WAS A BIT INTIMIDATED BUT ONCE THE LAYOUT WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE CANVAS AND I STARTED LAYING PAINT, I FELT COMFORTABLE .I FEEL THIS WAS LIKE A STARTING POINT TO A LOT OF PAINTING I DID LATER WHICH WERE LARGER THAN THIS PAINTING.THIS PAINTING WAS AN EXPERIENCE THAT TAUGHT ME A LOT OF THINGS WHEN I WAS STARTING OUT ACADEMICALLY.

THE NEXT STEP WAS STUDYING THE ELEMENTS OF THE PAINTINGS SEPARATELY. EITHER BY OBSERVING, PHOTO DOCUMENTING FOR REFERNCE OR LIVE PAINTING.

ONCE I WAS CONFIDENT THAT I HAVE EVERY THING I NEEDED TO START MY PAINTING I STARTED ON THE CANVAS REFERING TO ALL THE COLLECTED DOCUMENTATIONS.

I DID DOCUMENT EVERY STAGE OF MY PROGRESS BUT UNFORTUNATELY I LOST THEM WHEN MY PHONE SHUTDOWN DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES.
