THE INITIAL SKETCHING WORKS.... FROM SINGLE DESIGNS TO COMPOSITIONS!!

Free hand design drawing was one of the courses that I was introduced to in the foundation section  of my stream i.e Bsc interior and furniture design..the first classes where about pencil sketching of a still life and this pic below is my very first class work.This is the real basic of the different pencil sketching techniques that I came to know about..

 

         

This was the first object or ...should I say objects  !!!!!,that I was taught to draw in my freehand practicals..I was't that happy with the way how it came out .....but right now seeing this sketching I can surely say that I have improved a lot .

I was first frightened to see my teacher entering the class with a pot in her hands..I was even more frightened when she said we had to draw it, considering lighting ,shadow formation and every detailing.I have used the blending technique in this sketching. Our mam said this technique gives a realistic touch to the drawings.

This was another object drawing.As a starter in pencil sketching it was quite difficult to draw this particular one.I know it doesn't look that appealing but I was quite satisfied.

As a culmination of many objects ..this picture was kind of a composition work for me..though time consuming I remember the intensity and perfection I gifted in the making of it....

From single object drawing ,sketching to more than one object attempts...the pace of my freehand design drawings have witnessed ups and downs...
